2025-2026 Officer Board

  • Bryan Cavener

    President

I became a proud supporter of the Golden Warriors Marching Band when my son joined as a trumpet player in the eighth grade. Peter is now a Senior who enthusiastically leads the band as Drum Major.

Leading board and general meetings, the president ensures the organization follows its bylaws, appoints committee chairs and special committees, and oversees records and reports for the organization.

As a high schooler, I played the saxophone in marching band before attending The Ohio State University where I had the privilege of watching TBDBITL lead the Buckeyes onto the field on Saturdays. I have greatly enjoyed working with the Andover Band as a parent volunteer, board Vice-President, and I am looking forward to contributing as President of the Board.

  • Amala Rajani

    Vice President

I am the proud band parent of Vir, who’s rocked both the snare and mallets in our percussion section.

Supporting the president in leading the organization, the vice president stays informed on all business matters, steps in when the president is unavailable, and prepares to serve as president the following year.

If I were in the band? I’d play the flute—because its a beautiful, versatile instrument that shines in every genre! And my go-to concession stand snack? Pizza!

  • Vik Sharma

    Treasurer

I became a part of the Andover Marching Band family when my son, Daksh, became involved. Daksh is a Senior who is in battery percussion.

Managing all incoming and outgoing funds, the treasurer maintains the organization’s bank accounts and financial records, pays approved expenses, handles government filings, and provides financial updates at each meeting.

Once I saw how much Daksh enjoys playing with the band, I became inspired to join and see what it’s all about. If I were to join the band? Percussion all the way—any instrument that keeps the groove going.

Favorite concession stand snack? The classic pizza slice!

  • Carina Becker

    Corresponding Secretary

I am proud mom to Mason, a second-year trumpet player.

Handling official correspondence, the secretary maintains records and rosters, preserves band history and memorabilia, and manages the alumni database.

If I were in the band today? I’d be back in color guard—I was captain my senior year and even marched with a senior drum corps!

Concession stand favorite? Popcorn and a Diet Coke.

  • Nora Pelt

    Social Media/Digital Presence Coordinator

I am proud band mom to Ben Pelt—a senior and drum major who’s also played the mellophone, participated in color guard/winter guard, and served as Band Manager.

Managing social media and outreach to keep the band connected with the community, the Social Media/Digital Presence Coordinator shares news and events, maintains the ABA website, and provides key info and resources for families and volunteers.

If I were in the band? With a BFA in Dance and a Master’s in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management, I’d give color guard a try.

Concession stand snack? Soft pretzel, no salt.
