Evan Michaels
President
I am a proud band parent of both Micaila, a second-year trumpet player and winter guard member serving as publicity chair on the band council this year, and Lorelei, a first-year color guard member.
I originally played alto sax and it would definitely be my instrument of choice if I were in marching band again. (I later played bassoon, but that would be quite the marching challenge!) Fun fact: I was coaxed into playing sousaphone while marching in high school and my left knee has never been quite the same...but I got to wear a beret instead of a shako, so it was absolutely worth it!
Best concession stand snack? Salted soft pretzel every time! -

Amala Rajani
Vice President
I am the proud band parent of Vir, who’s rocked both the snare and mallets in our percussion section.
Supporting the president in leading the organization, the vice president stays informed on all business matters, steps in when the president is unavailable, and prepares to serve as president the following year.
If I were in the band? I’d play the flute—because its a beautiful, versatile instrument that shines in every genre! And my go-to concession stand snack? Pizza!

Carina Becker
Community Outreach
I am proud mom to Mason, a third-year trumpet player.
The community outreach coordinator runs the social media accounts, maintains official correspondence of the ABA and helps to build connections between the band and the community that are mutually beneficial.
If I were in the band today? I’d be back in color guard—I was captain my senior year and even marched with a senior drum corps!
Concession stand favorite? Pretzel, Twizzlers and a Diet Coke.
