Who We Are

We are a group of families who care about music education in our school system and strive to help the Andover band program grow and thrive. We are committed to enriching the musical and personal experiences of all our band students and contribute to an improved quality of music community at Andover High School. Membership is extended to all guardians of students enrolled in any of Andover High School Band classes. (Marching Band, Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Band).

  • The ABA donates its time and resources to benefit all Andover band students. Over the past few years the ABA has worked diligently to increase financial support of our band program providing students with new music, new instruments, new performing ensembles, and new learning opportunities.

    • We prioritize the active engagement of all band parents and guardians.

    • We seek the collaboration and backing of the local community, spanning educational institutions, businesses, and private entities, through a spectrum of initiatives including fundraisers, strategic grant applications, and meticulously curated social events.

    • We amplify the scope of enriching musical experiences and extend vital financial aid opportunities to our deserving students, ensuring equitable access to the transformative power of music education.

    BYLAWS
We are governed by the ABA Bylaws. Last updated on 6/15/2022, they provide our operating framework, guiding our actions and decisions in alignment with our mission and values.

  • Our school administration, band director, and Band Boosters believe that all students should have the opportunity to enjoy marching band. We fundraise throughout the school year so band is accessible for all families and support our students with the best instruments, instructors, and resources available. Financial obstacles should never block a student from making friends, music, and lifelong memories. Please note that funds are available if you are in need of financial assistance for ABA membership. No student or family should feel that they cannot participate due to financial hardship.

If you have questions about ABA dues, please contact our President Bryan Cavener or our Treasurer Vikram Sharma.
